XII. Just a little emotion, please

The cherry blossoms are fading fast, help! I will try to post a vid blog soon about how beautiful Korea is in the spring. It'll be worth it. Any chance you have should be spent outside- for my sake. I hate working during beautiful weather :/

Things I'm dreading:

-Report cards

-Bugs

-Grace leaving Youngdo

-Food poisoning. Apparently it gets worse in the summer- ehhh :(*

Things I'm looking forward to:

-Skype dates

-Surprise snail mail

-A box from my family

-Sound of Spring orchestra concert

-Bowling on the 25th

-People buying me food for my birthday (ahem, it's 4.22, fyi) ;)

-CHINA!!!

Since my birthday is coming soon, I'd like an ice cream cake and a new lens for my cammy. Thanks. :]

XVIII. The best Birthday present.

     We're getting a vacay!!! You have no idea how excited I am to finally travel and see other parts of Asia- it's about time! Some co-workers and I have decided to spend our 5 days in Beijing, China, with hopefully a day or two to spare to rest up.  Our vacation will be April 30-May 5, honoring Labor Day, as well as Buddha's birthday. If anybody wants to tag along, let me knowww.

    And randomly, I have this ridiculous song stuck in my head. Arg. 

     AND it's almost the weekend. Wowers. Time is flying faster than a speeding bullet. 

XI. 보고십어~

     I miss random conversation. Someone escape with me! We can meander somewhere, sit under a tree and shoot the breeze about something or nothing at all. Or, let's take a bus to a destination we don't know and see what coffee shop we can crash at and make ourselves at home. 

     I'm tired of work. And seclusion. And planned weekends. I want to forget about time. 

     I know someone somewhere feels the same. One day, we'll have the pleasure of meeting and we'll do a bunch of random crap that to a stranger may seem like a waste of time, but to us will be the most valuable moments time could hold.

Student: Teacher, you are beautiful.

Teacher: No, you can't go to the bathroom.

Student: Teacher you are still beautiful.

Teacher: You still can't go to the bathroom.

Student: Okay. 

Teacher: If you don't understand, I want you to ask me questions. Okay?

Student: Yes, teacher! To another student, in Korean: What did she just say?

X. Spare yourselves.

The Klimt exhibit at the Seoul Art Center was crap. 

But luckily, Nature Poem was not.

We ended up in the Cheongdam area and headed over the the building of galleries, which I had been meaning to go to for a while. It was actually a surprise that we ended up there.  There were so many galleries that we weren't able to see them all, but we'll revisit the area fo shiz. Ugh. It was so fun. And to my surprise, some of the Korean artists were friendly and explained their work to us. I didn't really understand half of the jumble but, anyway, it was cool.

Also, found an incredible Thai place in the basement called Pattaya. Amazing.
